Take Action
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed, citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." (Margaret Mead)
We need CPS members, allied organizations and passionate individuals to hold governments accountable and ensure that public policies are in the best interests of children and youth.
Here are some ways you can help:
Spread the wordby following the CPS onTwitterandFacebookand sharing posts of interest to you. Remember to tag those you’re seeking to influence and use hashtags such as #cdnhealth.
Email or write a letterto your federal/provincial/territorial representatives. Remember, the job of elected officials is to represent and advance the interests of their constituents.
Request a meetingwith your government representative or local Medical Officer of Health. In-person meetings, especially on a topic where you have a particular passion or expertise can personalize an issue and increase the likelihood of meaningful action.
